“"Excellent course! Learnt so much. April was an amazing presenter-definitely will be recommending this to my colleagues and PM"”
“I loved the practice on identifying which item numbers might be useful for the example patients. Actually getting us to write it down was really helpful. Also love hearing from the presenters how they actually implement the ideas in their daily practice, how it fits into their work.”
“"I learned a lot and it will definitely change my practice in billing effectively. Great value for money"”
“"I found the workshops, the Sydney BFD18 Conference and the website has been valuable to my clinical practice and my own personal finances"”

Facebook Administrators
I'm Ned Abraham, and as a doctor myself, I am deeply committed to supporting my colleagues through the Business for Doctors (BFD) network. My role as an admin for our Facebook Group is centered on fostering a secure, collaborative, and high-value environment where medical professionals can openly discuss the complexities of the "business of medicine." I help bridge the gap between clinical expertise and the essential financial, legal, and operational knowledge required to thrive in modern practice.
As a part of the admin team, I have had the opportunity to counsel and guide doctors from time to time and I find this extremely fulfilling. Amazingly, the admin team does function like a well-oiled machine, considering that all of us work full time and volunteer admin work in our spare time. Outside of BFD, I am an IMG who started working in Medicine in Australia in 2009, having originally graduated from India. I did my GP training in rural North Western NSW in Tamworth and Quirindi. I continued working post FRACGP in the country towns of Quirindi and Werris Creek in NSW. I eventually moved to regional NSW and currently work in Wyong. I am passionate about IMG rights, mentoring medical students, GP registrars and IMG trainees.
Casey Going is an integral part of the Business for Doctors team, serving as one of our dedicated Facebook Administrator for our online community.
In alignment with the BFD mission to create a mutually supportive environment, Casey plays a vital role in fostering a professional space where medical practitioners can engage with respect and inclusivity. With a commitment to integrity and community connection, Casey ensures our Facebook group remains a trusted hub for members to share accurate information and support one another through every career stage.
I am a neurologist working on Central Coast region of NSW trying to balance a mix of private rooms + public hospital VMO while dabbling in research. Becoming an Administrator at the BFD Facebook Group has made me much more aware of professional, legal, financial and political facets of practising medicine in 21st century Australia and challenges of providing high quality care provision for those who need it with the realities of available resources and systemic and practical barriers involving multiple stakeholders. The other upside is that I feel much more connected and engaged with the broader community of doctors outside my region and specialty across Australia, even if it is only by your Facebook handles!
